  I am a retired, home bound, disabled person, weighing 600 pounds, and I write well over 50 letters a week as I am living THE GOOD LIFE at Waters Edge in Harbour View. Several weeks a year I mail out over 250 letter and post cards to my neighbors and homeowners at Waters Edge. I understand the postal machines sometimes slap a label on my letter, or post card, saying it's "DELIVERABLE" or "NO SUCH ADDRESS" as it processes with hundreds of thousands of letters going through sorting machines 100 miles away, in Richmond, and sent back here only to be delivered next door. It's as ridiculous, I guess, as me giving my caregiver letters to put in our community mailbox a block away that are addressed to my next door neighbors or myself (I like to know when they are delivered in our community). Overall, I am proud of our postal service even though machines and people do make mistakes. Fortunately, at Waters Edge, we have a back-up plan: Our Neighbors. Most don't know each other, but we are all enjoying THE GOOD LIFE at Waters Edge and think nothing of helping each other by either re-mailing our neighbor's mail when they receive it by accident or actually taking the time to hand deliver the mail to the correct address themselves. I thank God for my postal service, my mail men and women, and especially my neighbors.

  Run down and inconvenient. Hours are lousy. But you have to have a post office and this is the one I get.

  This office sucks. My mail comes anywhere between 12pm and 6pm or later. Packages with tracking numbers will say out for delivery in the morning and either show up days later or not at all but say they were delivered. Some days my mail doesn't come at all. I've also recently received two letters that had the same side of the envelope cut open and have yet to receive the third one that should've come with them. This office seriously needs to step up their game by delivering mail at a reasonable hour and not tampering with mail. I am tired of not getting my mail. *Update* They held a piece of my mail for almost three weeks before giving me any notice they had it. When they finally did give me a form of notice it was a final notice stating that I had to pay postage on what was mailed to me or it would be returned to the sender. Why should I have to pay postage on something that was mailed to me? It makes absolutely no sense at all. This office needs some fixing.
