- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★final entry: I have lived in three other countries and had mail service in a number of others. I can positively say that with all of its faults the US Post Office does a hell of a great job overall and is less expensive then about every industrial country that I am aware of. When I was in Australia the PO went on strike for almost THREE MONTHS. Only official federal mail was delivered. Think about that!By Jack Long, September 20, 2017
